An ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) ground cord, also referred to as an ESD grounding cord or wrist strap cord, is an essential component of an ESD protection system. It is used in conjunction with ESD wrist straps, heel grounders, or other ESD protective equipment to provide a controlled path for the discharge of static electricity from a person to a designated ground point.

The ESD ground cord typically consists of a flexible, conductive cable with connectors on each end. One end of the cord is fitted with a connector that attaches to the ESD wrist strap worn by an individual, while the other end is equipped with a connector that can be connected to a grounding point, such as an ESD grounding mat or a specially designed grounded surface.
